DublinWriter Creative Writing Services Workshops - Hanley Library, Bethesda Street, Hanley
***New! Bring a friend with you to one of my workshops and your NEXT workshop will only cost you £15***
I host regular writing workshops once a month to pass on what I have learned over several years of writing, submitting, attending workshops and learning from some of the best flash, short story and novel writers in the business. My passion is to pass on my own enthusiasm for writing and to try to help people on their journey to publication, and to make their writing the best it can be.
I am published in several anthologies and online. I have also been long listed and short listed in competitions, won the Staffs Too Write Short Story competition, and have been a judge for the Potteries Prize for Flash Fiction.
How it Works
Once you have made your payment you will receive a receipt from PayPal. I will contact you to let you know your place is all booked and to make sure you booked for the workshop you intended to. I will also accept your email as your consent to be put on my mailing list. Please state otherwise if you wish not to be on the list. I will contact you to let you know about future workshops as they come up, and to invite you to them.
If you need to cancel before the workshop, you can do so by contacting me 48 hours or more before the date. A full refund will be given in these cases. For less than 48 hours notice, no refund will be given.
Each workshop is two hours long and primarily focussed on being productive and going away with new pieces to work on, but with a featured topic on the day that we will talk about. So along with lots of writing we will be talking about things like editing, finding your voice, working on plot, emotional writing, etc, etc. Workshops can be changed on the day dependant on the wishes of those present. Lots of writing will always be done, and we can talk about any aspect of writing that you need to. Fun and informal sessions where the emphasis is on achieving something in the two hours.
