ABOUT DEBBI

Debbi Voisey writes flash fictions, short stories, and novels. She has had her words published in several places online and in print (including Ad Hoc, The Bath Short Story Award, The Daily Drunk, Ellipsis, Flash Fiction Festival Anthologies 1, 2 and 3, National Flash Fiction Day, Paragraph Planet, Reflex, Litro, Storgy, Visual Verse, – and a short story machine at Edmonton Airport in Canada). She has been longlisted and shortlisted in several competitions, including Bath Short Story Award, Flash 500, and Reflex Fiction.

 

Her Novella in Flash, The 10:25 was shortlisted in the Bath Novella-in-Flash Award in 2018, and will be published this year by Flash: The Internation Short-Short Story Press.  Her second Novella in Flash, Only About Love, is forthcoming in August with Fairlight Press.

 

Whilst writing and submitting her own work, Debbi runs creative writing workshops in her hometown and online, providing a range of creative outlets including one to ones and group sessions, and intensive courses. Debbi is seeking an agent to represent her in her search for a home for her novels.  She lives in Stoke on Trent with her husband and her dream is to give up her day job and work full time as a writer.
